MSGs (Measurable Skill Gains) Report

Updated 11/20/24

Run this report often to make sure students get credit for earning any of the five MSGs:

  • MSG 1: Educational Functioning Level Gains based on NRS pre/post tests (MSG 1a) or passing a single subject official GED or HiSET subtest (MSG 1d)
  • MSG 2: Adult Diploma (standard & competency-based), GED, and HiSET
  • MSG 3: Post-secondary credits for IET students
  • MSG 4: Milestones for IET & Workplace Literacy
  • MSG 5: Credentials attainment for IET

The MSGs report finds students with hours in the selected date range who earned an MSG. It's similar to Level Gains & MSGs report but without entry Educational Functioning Levels (EFLs), and only students with an MSG are displayed.

How to run the MSGs report

  1. In the SiD Reports tab>Outcome Reports section, click the MSGs report link.
  2. Set the report filters as desired. Note that the report defaults to show participants - students with 12 or more attendance hours.
