Accepted file types

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Portable Document Format - pdf
  • Online evidence links are OK. Enter the URL/link address in the diploma submission form Comments box.

File Naming Convention

The naming convention makes supporting evidence documents more clear. It also allows programs to upload the same evidence for numerous competencies.

Here is the naming convention for evidence uploads:

  1. Start with type of evidence (ABE, GED, HSTran, etc.)
  2. Add a dash
  3. Add section/domain/other qualifier, if specific or relevant (e.g. ABE-WritingELA,  GED-Math, or HS Tran-Sci)
  4. Add a dash
  5. Add student last name

Examples of evidence upload names:

  • ABE-WritingELA-Hasskamp
  • GED-ELA-Sci-SS-Hasskamp
  • HSTran-Math-Sci-SS-Hasskamp
