Scheduled vs. Lab Attendance
When classes are created, attendance is noted as Scheduled or Lab. You can see the Attendance type on the Class > Summary screen, summary panel.
- Scheduled: Assumes students will all begin and end the class period at the same time. Allows multiple students to be assigned daily attendance hours at one time.
- Lab: Assumes students will arrive and leave at different times of the day. Requires hours to be entered for each student individually.
Calendar Coding
- Pink shading: class is open on this day, but attendance has not yet been recorded.
- White shading, black numbers: attendance has been completed for at least some staff or students.
- White shading, gray numbers: class is not open or dates are in the future.
- Black shading: the date has been marked as a "no student attendance" day and no attendance has been entered for teachers, volunteers, or students.
- Green shading: locally designated holidays.
