Hotline Search By Class Types Doesn't Show All Results

Q: Our program offers an ESL class. On the Literacy MN Hotline site, I searched for a Class Type of "English (ESL)." But my ABE program didn't appear in the results. What's going on?

A: The Class Types checkboxes on the hotline search page depend on the SiD Hotline Content that has been marked for each class. It's likely the English (ESL) Hotline Content box wasn't checked for your ESL class.

You can easily check and update the Hotline Content in SiD to make sure English (ESL) has been marked.

  1. Select the ESL class from the Classes tab in SiD.
  2. On the Classes>Summary screen, click the Edit button for the white section on the left side of the screen.
  3. In the Hotline Content section, make sure "English (ESL)" has a check in the box.
  4. If you made any changes, click the Save button on the Edit screen.

Note that if you make changes in SiD, it may take up to an hour for them to appear on the hotline.

If that doesn't work, send us an email at sidsupport@literacymn.org.
