Question:
Can the Person Search summary screen be changed to show a student’s most recent test scores without having to add existing students to our site?
Answer:
We want programs to be able to find existing student records created at other sites by using Person Search. But we also want to protect student confidentiality until programs "take ownership" of students by adding them to a SiD site.
The Highest Reading and Highest Math score rows are useful for students who took their tests after January 2024. They show the highest educational functioning level a student has achieved on a test. This detail can help you decide if this is the same person you want to add to your program.
When the rows are blank, it indicates that the student was not tested in the subject or that the tests were taken before the end of Jan 2024 when the feature was added to SiD.
