Use the "No Student Attendance" checkbox to show that a regularly scheduled class had no students or the class was not open for the day.
Class days marked as "No Student Attendance" are not included in attendance percentage reports, such as the Class Monthly Attendance report.
Turn on "No Student Attendance"
- From the Classes tab, select the desired class row. Go to the Classes>Attendance tab.
- From the calendar, click on the class day that had no student attendance.
- If desired, add teacher and volunteer time.
- Check the No Student Attendance box.
- Click the Save Attendance button. The date on the calendar will change to black if no time is recorded for teachers or volunteers.
Turn off "No Student Attendance"
- From the Classes tab, select the desired class row. Go to the Classes>Attendance tab.
- From the calendar, click on the desired class day.
- Uncheck the "No Student Attendance" box. Then click the Save Attendance button.
- The date on the calendar will change color, allowing you to take attendance for students.
