Each instructional volunteer must be assigned to an ABE Volunteer Program, which is then used on the Literacy MN Annual Volunteer Report. This article shows the steps needed to create an ABE Volunteer Program history item on a volunteer's SiD record.
- On the Volunteer tab, search for and select a volunteer
- From the Summary tab, click on the History tab
- Enter the Effective Date - the date the volunteer was assigned the ABE Volunteer Program (often the date they begin with your program)
- From the History Groups menu, choose ABE Volunteer Program. Only
- From the History Item menu, choose one option*
- Click Save
If a person is volunteering in more than one program area, create a separate history row for each. Only one program area (the one with the most recent Effective Date) will be included on the Annual Report.
