The new database will have a daily attendance feature. This replaces the current MARCS monthly attendance for each student.
Daily attendance means hours will be recorded in the database on days when students show up for class. Hours may be recorded by data entry staff, teachers, or automatically with a student ID card swiper/reader.
Daily attendance does not mean you must enter hours every single day, for every single student, whether or not they attend. Entering daily hours at the end of the week will be perfectly fine.
