Table A: WBP students

Note: Work Based Project ended 1/1/17. It was last reported on 16-17 MDE Table A. It was not reported on the 16-17 Federal NRS tables.

Here’s how Work Based Project (WBP) hours are selected for Table A.
  • SiD looks for NRS Program/Work Based Project on the Students>History tab.
  • The WBP tag follows students when they enroll in more than one MN ABE program.
  • When another site marks a student as WBP, all ABE/ESL hours earned at your site will appear on Table A as WBP.
Students who took a WBP class in the current NRS year and have 30 hrs or less can stay on the WBP line. When that's not the case, get rid of the WBP tag.

Remove the WBP tag from a student record
  1. On the Reports tab> Attendance Reports section, run Table A.
  2. Click the plus sign (+) next to WBP.
  3. Click the Badge ID for the student, then go to the Students>History tab.
- Does the student have an active WBP history item (an Effective Date before 4/30/16 but no End Date) from a prior year? If so, type an End Date of 4/30/16 on the WBP row(s).

- When the student has a WBP history item with an Effective Date in this NRS year, remove the row. (Note: typing an End Date will not remove the WBP tag.)

Is the Remove This History link missing? Contact the program that created the WBP tag. Ask them to remove the WBP row.

4. Re-run Table A. The student should no longer appear in the WBP row after the tag is removed.
